The Sloane Arts Initiative was created in 2025 alongside Sloane the Brand with the goal of improving arts education and accessibility around Texas. With cuts in funding to school districts like Socorro ISD and public art programs like that in Houston, Sloane the Brand founders Cecilia Chen and Margaret Hohenshelt turned their profits towards donating art supplies, hosting workshops, and in the long run, working towards creating policy change.

Through our workshops, events, and outreach programs, we strive to make art education accessible to all, especially in school districts and areas throughout Texas where legislative funding has been cut. Our founders, the founders of Sloane the Brand Cecilia Chen and Margaret Hohenshelt, are committed to nurturing creativity and fostering a love for the arts in an environment that celebrates diversity and individual expression.
